    Cut potatoes and tomatoes in small cubes. It is better to take a ripe, soft — it «dissolves» well in the broth, giving a soup with shrimp light sourness.

  • Step 4

    In a pot with a thick bottom, melt the butter. Put onions, carrots and celery, fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. At the end, evenly sprinkle the vegetables with 1 teaspoon of flour and mix — the flour will give the soup a light density and saturation.

  • Step 5

    Mix the contents of the pan and add tomatoes. Fry for another minute.

  • Step 6

    Pour hot vegetable or fish broth. Add potatoes and cook 10 minutes after boiling — until cooked.

  • Step 7

    While the potatoes are cooked, finely chop the dill and grind the clove of garlic.

  • Step 8

    If the shrimp is large — cut them into 2-3 parts. Small can be left intact. It is important that the shrimp is raw — so they will give maximum taste of the soup.

  • Step 9

    After 10 minutes, add shrimp, garlic to the pan, pour cream and add spices: a pinch of salt, nutmeg, acute pepper and just a mixture of peppers.

    About peppers. I definitely add in addition to the usual mixture (mill: fragrant, black, pink, white) I add a sharp chili. By a pinch of one and the other.

  • Step 10

    After boiling, cook cream soup with shrimp for only 1 minute, then add dill and turn off after another 1 minute. This is enough for shrimp — they will remain tender.

    Cover the soup with a lid and let it brew for 10 minutes. Before serving, be sure to try and, if necessary, correct the taste.
