The recipe for this simple and delicious home baking includes the following ingredients: peeled walnuts, granulated sugar, chicken eggs (medium size), wheat flour (higher or first grade), sour cream (I have 20% fat, but at all), butter, food soda and ground cinnamon. If you do not like cinnamon, you can not add it at all. All products (with the exception of chicken eggs) should be at room temperature.

Since the dough for walnut cake is made very quickly, you can immediately turn on the oven at 170 degrees. First of all, you need to chop the peeled walnuts, but not very finely — not in the crumb, but so that pieces remain. You can do this with a sharp knife or use a kitchen combine.

Chicken eggs need to be washed and thoroughly dry with a napkin or towel. Gently separate proteins from yolks — in this recipe we need both. We still leave the proteins, and we transfer the yolks to a bowl and add 150 grams of sugar to them.

Beat everything with a whisk or mixer to partial dissolution of sugar, whitewashing and increasing mass in volume. Then add sour cream, food soda and ground cinnamon (if you love it).

Once again, mix everything thoroughly and enter the soft butter. If you forgot to get oil from the refrigerator in advance, you can quickly soften it in the microwave in defrosting mode.

We take a baking dish (preferably with a diameter of 20-24 centimeters, but this is not fundamentally) and lubricate it with any confectionery fat: refined vegetable or butter, ghee or animal fat — which is more like. We spread the dough in the shape and level it with a spoon or spatula. We put the bake in a heated oven at 170 degrees for about 30 minutes.

While preparing a walnut pie, we’ll get a mere. It will be a French meringue (you can read about all the intricacies and nuances of its preparation here) — air cream. We have 3 egg proteins and 100 grams of sugar — we will need them. Pour the proteins into clean and dry dishes and begin to beat with a mixer at medium speed.
