Detailed step -by -step recipe with photo: Step 1
-
Prepare all the ingredients for compot from currant for the winter.
Rolked 3 banks of 0.7 liters.
Mint or Melissa at will.
-
Step 2
Peel the berries of twigs and garbage and rinse quickly.
Someone rolls red currants with the twigs. But personally, I have not tried. If this person you are, then be sure to share experience in the comments 🙂
-
Step 3
Sustain banks and lids.
Probably, every housewife has his own method. Personally, I just wash the lids and pour boiling water. They are so in it and lie, before use.
I also rinse the banks and put it still moist for 3 minutes in a microwave oven.
Everything, with sterilization, finished.
By the way, the lids for rolling are necessarily new, and not «like normal, I will twist a second time.» It's no longer risking here 🙂

Step 4
Distribute the berries to the banks.
If you use three liters, then it will be 1 bank, with a slightly less concentrated taste.
-
Step 5
Put the mint from above.
I have a large twig, which I divided into 3 parts. The taste of mint will not be bright, just a light train.
-
Step 6
Pour the berries with boiling water.
Next, we will drain it into a pan, so you will need a special cover with small holes. By the way, there are such covers on sale, but mine was lost somewhere. Therefore, I take any cover and with the help of a knife I quickly make holes in it. Here is such a life hack.
-
Step 7
Drain the water from the cans to the pan, add sugar, stir and re -bring everything to a boil.
-
Step 8
Pour the berries in jars again with sweet syrup and tightly tighten the lids.
By and large, everything is ready.
-
Step 9
On the lids, put the date of cooking.
If you canned a lot, then, in my opinion, this is necessary. You will see what to take first.
-
Step 10
Turn the cans with compote, cover with a towel and let it cool slowly.
Then we kill two birds with one stone. Firstly, we check whether the lids are tightened. Well, secondly, it turns out, as it were, easy sterilization — banks remain hot longer and heat it gradually.

Step 11
Currant compote for the winter is ready.
Three days later, the compote became more saturated, the berries began to give all their taste and color.
By the way, I never put off and do not complain that there is nothing to mess with so many berries. They appeared — after half an hour I already have three jars of compote. I am not tired, I did everything with an eye, the berries did not disappear.
Put the compote for storage until the right moment.
All delicious compote!
