Preparation: Step 1
-
Prepare the necessary ingredients for cabbage rolls with minced meat in a slow cooker.
For pigeons, both young and winter cabbage are suitable, but with different nuances:
Young cabbage (spring/summer): gentle, light green leaves, easily separated, thin veins. Choose a compact fork up to 1.5 kg. Winter cabbage (autumn/winter): more dense leaves, with thick veins. It is better to take a medium -sized forks, without spots and dents.
The minced meat is best used to use mixed (beef + pork). It will turn out juicy and will not be dry. The meat should be fresh, not watery, without smell.
Rice is suitable for any variety.
Take sour cream at least 15% fat.
Tomato paste should be thick, without starch and additives. Better — with a minimum of sugar.

Step 2
Rinse rice. Pour cold water (300-400 ml). Side a little. Bring to a boil. Cook until half-consuming, about 7-9 minutes, on fire below average, stirring.
Half -ready rice for cabbage rolls in the slow cooker should remain a little elastic — do not bring to full readiness.
-
Step 3
Peel and rinse the onion with carrots. Cut the onion in small pieces, rub the carrots on a large grater. Put in a pan with warmed oil.

Step 4
Fry 8-10 minutes over medium heat so that the vegetables become softer. Stir regularly so as not to be buried.
-
Step 5
Put the half -ready rice on a colander so that the glass is all excess fluid.
-
Step 6
Boil water in a large pot.
Gently lower the cabbage. If you have young cabbage, like mine, then 2-3 minutes are enough for the leaves to become soft.
Old cabbage leaves need to blanch longer — up to 4-6 minutes, until they become elastic.
Cabbage leaves for cabbage rolls in the slow cooker should not break.
-
Step 7
Remove the leaves, put it on a sieve and cool. It can be washed with cold water to stop the cooking process.
-
Step 8
On each sheet, cut the thickened core in the center — then it will be easier to wrap.
-
Step 9
Put the minced meat in a deep bowl.
-
Step 10
Add fried vegetables to the minced meat.
-
Step 11
Add half a ready rice.
-
Step 12
Season to taste-salt, pepper, hop-sunels, dried garlic. You can add other favorite spices.
For cabbage rolls with minced meat in a slow cooker, delicate but fragrant seasonings are especially well suited.
-
Step 13
Mix the rice-and-subject filling until a homogeneous mass.
-
Step 14
In another bowl, mix sour cream, tomato paste and water. Side and pepper a little.
You can take water, but meat broth or cabbage broth — the taste will be even more saturated.

At the bottom of the multicooker bowl (I have 5 l) I added the remaining cabbage leaflets. This is optional.
