Prepare all ingredients in advance.
Take medium-sized potatoes; all tubers should be approximately the same size.
Measure out the required amount of sour cream, ham and cheese. Ham can be replaced with bacon.
You can use your favorite spices, but so that they are combined with the filling for stuffing potatoes. I use a special seasoning for potatoes.

Throw pre-washed potatoes into boiling water. Cook for about 20 minutes. The time should be noted only after the water has boiled.
You can check the readiness of the potatoes using a knife or fork. If it is cooked, it will be soft.
It is important not to overcook the potatoes, otherwise they will fall apart.

Remove the pan from the stove, drain the water and remove the potatoes. Place it on a plate and let cool.

Cut the potatoes in half. Make a hole in half of the potatoes. To do this, you can use a knife or a teaspoon.
The main thing is not to rush and remove the pulp carefully, otherwise the potatoes may fall apart. Make as large a hole as possible in the potato half to accommodate as much filling as possible. This will make the potatoes much tastier.
At this stage, turn on the oven so that it preheats to a temperature of 180 °C.

Cut the ham into cubes. If you wish, you can replace it with bacon.

Bake the stuffed potatoes in the oven for 5-7 minutes. The cheese and ham should be slightly browned.

Remove the finished stuffed potatoes with ham from the oven, place on a plate, garnish with herbs and serve.
