Hi all.
We went to the dacha, closed the season, finished harvesting and brought to the city several heads of cabbage, an armful of carrots, apples, etc. We decided to use everything for its intended purpose, preparing a salad that was usual for our family, and it turned out that I had never described it on the pages of this blog, although it fully corresponds to ours «three Ps». I'm correcting myself)
Cole Slaw (or more correctly “Cole Slaw”), like any “folk” dish, has a bunch of variations. Some people put corn, some people add onions. In one place they will add red cabbage to white cabbage, in another they will even add sauerkraut.
We usually make it with apples, but this time we decided to use them on a wonderful invisible pie, and in the salad we could do with only cabbage, carrots and sauce — where would we be without it).
