Prepare dough for pies. In a deep bowl, connect kefir, soda, baking powder and salt. Mix. The mixture will begin to bubble — this is normal: there is a reaction, thanks to which the dough will become soft and airy.

The flour is necessarily sift — so it is saturated with oxygen, and the dough will turn out to be more tender. Pour it into a bowl with a kefir mixture.

First, the dough can stick to your hands — do not be alarmed. Do not succumb to the desire to add flour — so the dough will become tough. Instead, just lubricate your hands with sunflower oil and continue to mix. After a few minutes, the dough will gather in a soft ball. Wrap it in the film and remove it aside to «relax.»

Prepare pies filling.
Clean in advance boiled eggs and cut them with small cubes.

Rinse and dry the leaves of sorrel. Remove the hard stem and finely chop the leaves.

Put the leaves of sorrel in a deep cup and add chopped eggs to them. Mix everything well.

Divide the dough into 9-10 equal balls. The number of dough balls depends on the desired size of the pies.

Roll out each ball of dough in a circle of about 3 millimeters thick.

Put the prepared filling from sorrel and eggs in the middle of each circle from the dough.

Form pies in any way convenient for you.

Pour into a deep pan vegetable oil and warm it very well on moderate heat.
As soon as the oil warms up well, put the prepared pies with sorrel in it.

Fry pies with sorrel and egg in a pan from both sides to a beautiful golden hue. On average, it takes about 4-5 minutes on one side. The fire should not be too large so that the dough has time to fry inside, and not just from the outside.
Thus fry all the blanks alternately.
