  • Prepare the ingredients: thoroughly wash the lemons in hot water with a brush, put mint in cold water for 10-15 minutes, then drain. From the specified number of ingredients, about 2 liters of lemonade turned out.

    If you adhere to proper nutrition or want to reduce the calorie content of the drink, add honey instead of sugar, about 1-2 tsp. per 100 ml of water. Sugar -substitutes are also suitable: Jerusalem artichoke syrup needs to be taken 1/3 less or to taste, stevia and other substitutes need to be added, following the instructions.

  • Step 2

  • Step 4

    Pour 300 ml of water to sugar and lemon zest and mix thoroughly. Set aside for 15-20 minutes. Sometimes the mixture must be stirred so that the sugar dissolves better.

  • Step 5

    Remove mint leaves from twigs. Leave 2-4 branches for decorating lemonade in the decanters.

  • Step 6

    Squeeze lemon juice. I use an electric juicer for citrus fruits. It turned out almost 200 ml of fragrant juice.

    Tip: you can squeeze lemon with your hands. Previously, it must be dripped on a hard surface with an effort to soften the dense walls. However, so the juice will turn out less and it is better to take another 1 lemon.

  • Step 7

    Pour lemon juice to the sugar with zest and mix thoroughly.

  • Step 8

    Add the fragrant mixture to 1.5 liters of water and mix.

  • Step 9

    Ture the mint with a pestle or just shake your hands well.

  • Step 10

    Put the mint to the lemonade workpiece, tearing into pieces. Stir and let it brew at least 1 hour. Ideally, leave for 2-3 hours.

  • Step 11

    Add 1-2 branches of mint directly with the stem.
