  • Step 2

    Prepare Beijing cabbage. Disassemble it on the leaves and rinse each sheet well. Dry, cut the leaves along into two parts and cut into thin strips.

    You can cut the sheets along 3-4 parts, it depends on the size of the sheet of your cabbage.

  • Step 3

    Rinse the cucumbers well, dry, cut off the tips on both sides and cut the cucumbers with thin strips. It is better to choose young cucumbers with thin skin — they are ideal for salads.

  • Step 4

  • Step 5

    Rinse and dry parsley. Remove hard stems, and finely chop the leaves with a knife.

    💡 If you are not sure what kind of greens to add to the salad, choose the one that you like — this is a universal recipe. It can be dill, cilantro or arugula. You can also add a few Tarhuna or green onions.

  • Step 6

    Put the chopped Beijing cabbage in a deep bowl, add cucumbers, herbs and green peas. Distribute everything carefully.

    💡 So that the salad with Beijing cabbage and green peas retains juiciness, do not refuel it in advance.

  • Step 7

    Add sour cream, mayonnaise, a little soy sauce and black pepper. I do not add salt, since mayonnaise and soy sauce are already containing it. But you are guided to your liking.

    💡 If you want a lighter version, use yogurt instead of mayonnaise.

    Mix the salad thoroughly so that the gas station is evenly distributed. You can serve immediately or cool 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator.
