Detailed step-by-step recipe with photos: Step 1
-
Prepare the ingredients (use a frying pan with a diameter of 28 cm along the lid). The recipe calls for white turkey meat, but you can change it up by using thigh fillet. You can cook chicken, pork, and even beef according to the recipe. Any of these options will make a tasty and complete dish. True, the beef will have to be stewed longer to make it softer.
You can take any rice you like: round grain, basmati, jasmine. Only the cooking time will change slightly.
The vegetable set can be very different. Carrots are perhaps the only constant detail that shapes the texture, taste, and color of the dish. Leeks also retain their shape well and add a special flavor. But it can be easily replaced with any other onion that you have on hand.
Sweet red pepper adds a characteristic note; you can add half a green or yellow pepper to it — it will turn out even more elegant. Green beans can be eliminated by increasing the amount of other vegetables. But I wouldn’t remove stem celery from the recipe — it has a pleasant texture and characteristic aroma.
You can choose any spices that you like best, or you can limit yourself to salt and pepper. Tomato paste can be replaced with 1-2 fresh tomatoes or frozen puree.

Step 2

Step 3
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over high heat and place the fillet there, do not turn over for the first 3-4 minutes. Fry over high heat.
-
Step 4
Then stir the meat and fry for another 7-10 minutes, reducing the power (4/6 for an electric stove).
-
Step 5
While the meat is roasting, chop the celery and leeks into small cubes.
-
Step 6
Peel the pepper from seeds and cut into feathers, and carrots into thin cubes.
-
Step 7
Send all the vegetables to the meat and fry for 5-6 minutes, adding power (5/6 for an electric stove).
-
Step 8
Add the frozen green beans, mix thoroughly and return to the stove.
-
Step 9
Cover with a lid and simmer over medium heat for 10-12 minutes (4/6 for an electric stove). During this time, the beans should completely melt and release some liquid.
Tip: if using fresh green beans, pour 60-70 ml of water into the pan.
-
Step 10
Push the vegetables to the edges and place the tomato paste in the center of the pan. Fry, stirring only the paste, for 1-2 minutes, increasing the power to maximum.
-
Step 11
Add spices and salt, stir and leave for another 1 minute over high heat.
-
Step 12
Pour the washed rice on top and spread it evenly over the surface with a spatula.

-
Step 13
Pour in hot water so that its level is 1.5-2 cm above the level of rice. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce power and simmer for 15-25 minutes until the rice is ready (4/6 for an electric stove).
10 minutes before cooking, if there is a lot of liquid, the lid can be opened a little.
-
Step 14
Mix rice with turkey and vegetables in a frying pan. If there is practically no water, turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let stand for 10-15 minutes. If there is still water left, leave with the lid open for 3-4 minutes and then stir again.
-
Step 15
Place on plates and serve. Bon appetit!
