Prepare the necessary ingredients for fried shrimp in a pan.
For frying, I recommend choosing the shrimp in the shell — not peeled. They retain juiciness with frying and give a brighter taste.
In order for the cooking process to go faster, I buy a boiled-frozen shrimp of a trusted manufacturer. When buying, pay attention to the appearance. Seafood should be whole, with a shell, head and tail. Boiled-frozen pink shrimp, without grayness. A thin ice layer is allowed.

Frozen shrimp move in advance to the refrigerator and defrost. It will need about 4-6 hours. If there is not enough time, you can pour them with cold water for 15-25 minutes. You do not need to use hot water. After defrosting, rinse with cold water to remove the remaining glaze.
To fry the shrimp, you can use a cast -iron pan, with an anti -stick coating or stainless steel with a thick bottom. Take a frying pan of such a size that seafood is in one layer. Warm up the pan over moderate heat. Pour in water. Add prepared seafood to the pan.
