  • Prepare all ingredients for stewed potatoes with pork in a saucepan.

    For greens I have parsley and chives (chives). Dill, regular green onions, and for those who like it, cilantro are very good here.

    The meat I use is pork neck, but you can also use another part. If not the neck, then I would prefer the shoulder blade. Cooking times may vary.

    Cut the pork into small, easy-to-eat cubes and roll in flour.

  • Step 3

    Chop celery and onion.

    I just cut the celery into small pieces, and the onion on a burner grater.

  • Step 4

    Cut the skin off the pumpkin and cut into cubes, about 2 cm in size. Grate the carrots or cut into pucks or half-pucks.

    Pour oil into a thick-bottomed pan and fry the meat until lightly browned.

    The wider the pan, the faster the process. The fire is strong.

    The bottom begins to attract a little, but don't let that scare you. When you add water, everything will come off. Of course, unless it's really pitch black there. This will mean that your pan is not as good as you would like and is not suitable for light frying.

    Add onion, celery and fry, stirring for another minute.

    Next, carrots and continue frying for another minute.

  • Step 8

    Now add the pumpkin and also add 400 ml of water. Add salt, pepper mixture and cook slowly for 20-30 minutes.

    I weighed the salt. At the first stage I added 12 grams, approximately 1 tsp. with such a good slide.

  • Step 9

    Well, while the meat is stewing, peel and chop the potatoes and bell pepper.

  • Step 10

    Chop the herbs and garlic.

    As in most cases, I pass the garlic through a press.

  • Step 11

    Stir in potatoes and pepper. Continue cooking for another 20-25 minutes.

    The final stage is to add the herbs and garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.

    Be sure to taste the taste before adding greens. Personally, I added another pinch of salt (2 grams) and pepper.

    Let the stewed potatoes and pork sit for 5-10 minutes, let the greens release all their aromas and taste.

  • Step 14

    If you don't like a lot of liquid, add a little less water. We like it bigger.
