Prepare all ingredients for baked cod with vegetables.

After that, add the carrots and continue to fry the vegetables for another 5-7 minutes, stirring. Vegetables should become soft, but not overfected. At the end of the frying, add a little salt and pepper to taste.

Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Take a baking dish or a baking sheet, slightly grease it with oil. Put half the fried vegetables to the bottom, lay out cod steaks on top.

Finely chop the garlic or pass through the press. Mix with sour cream. Grease the fish evenly on top.
If desired, you can replace sour cream with mayonnaise. I prefer a more dietary option.

Wash the tomatoes, dry with a towel, remove the stalk and cut into thin rings.

On top of the cod with sour cream, lay out circles of tomatoes and the remaining fried vegetables. Put the shape with a cod in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
The baking time depends on the thickness of the fillet, but focus on the fact that it should become white and easily separated by a fork.

Grate cheese on a coarse grater. 5 minutes before the readiness to get our shape and sprinkle baked cod with cheese. Return to the oven.
If you want the top to be more golden, you can turn on the upper heating in the oven.
