Prepare ingredients for chicken chops under fur coat in the oven. The main thing, of course, is the chicken breast. But, in general, the recipe is suitable for turkey. You can also use chicken thigh fillet, but in this case the dish will be higher in calories and it is better to place the thighs in a glass form in a continuous layer. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content.
Tip: instead of sour cream, you can use mayonnaise, but, again, you should not forget about the higher calorie content.
Carrots are another important ingredient that can be substituted for pumpkin with moderate sweetness. I use leeks in the recipe, but any other onion will work.
There is also a prefabricated seasoning “For chicken”, which can be removed from the recipe, limiting yourself to only pepper and salt. The cheese should be hard or semi-hard, which does not spread much and creates a tasty crust. Parmesan, Gouda, and simple Russian cheese will do. The main thing is that it does not contain milk fat substitutes. When melted, they create an unpleasant aftertaste and become even more harmful.

Cut the chicken fillet into 2-3 pieces in thickness, removing the small fillet. I use small to medium sized breasts. If you have a large fillet, cut into 3 parts.
Tip: Small fillets can be frozen if the chicken has been refrigerated and not frozen. Or you can beat it off and put thinner pieces on top.

Beat each part with a hammer on both sides. You should not beat it too hard, the fillet should remain quite thick, about 1 cm or a little more.
Tip: use a bag or cling film to prevent splashes and the meat from tearing.

Line a baking sheet with siliconized parchment and place the breasts at a distance from each other.

Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper or chicken seasoning. Just a little to barely add taste and aroma. Leave to soak in the spices for a little while, about 15 minutes.

Chop the carrots on a coarse grater and cut the onion into small cubes. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the onion for 3-4 minutes over high heat, and then add carrots to it.
At this stage, you can preheat the oven to 200-210 degrees.

Fry for about 6-7 minutes until the carrots are half cooked, then remove from heat. Can be transferred to a smaller bowl.

Coat the fillet with sour cream using a spatula — a pastry brush will give too thin a layer.

Place 2-3 tbsp on top of the fillet. l. vegetable mixture, press slightly and smooth along the edges. Place in a well-heated oven for 15 minutes on a medium rack.

After 15 minutes, sprinkle the chicken chops under the fur coat with grated cheese and return to the oven. Reduce power by 10 degrees and bake for another 20-25 minutes or until beautifully golden brown.

Remove the chops; if the cheese has run down in places, when hot, you can lift it and place it on top or on the side of the fillet.
