    Prepare the necessary ingredients for the preparation of lean pasta.

    What pasta to choose, a matter of taste of everyone. I have hard wheat wheat from wheat. Such a product is more useful and has the best texture when cooking. You can experiment with gluten -free species: buckwheat, corn, etc.

    Which vegetables to choose? In this recipe, onions and carrots are obligatory ingredients. Instead of spinach, you can add zucchini, cabbage, broccoli, colored cabbage, mushrooms or others.

  • Step 2

    In a large pan, bring the required amount of water to a boil. In order for the pasta to be cooked evenly and not stick together, you need to use a lot of water. When the water boils, add salt.

    In boiled water, gently lower the pasta. Mix so that they do not stick together, and so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring periodically.

    The cooking time depends on the specific type of pasta, it is usually indicated on the package (on average 8-12 minutes). They should be al dente — not too soft, but not tough, with a slight hardness inside.

  • Step 3

    As soon as the pasta is cooked, drain the water with a corsher.

  • Step 4

    Choose a deep pan or wok. Warm up oil. I use refined sunflower. Dry the peeled and washed onions with a napkin. Cut into cubes, not very small. Send to preheated oil. Fry 2-3 minutes over moderate heat, stirring.

  • Step 5

    Clean carrots. Ring and dry. Grind on a coarse grater, for a faster frying. Add to onions. Fry over low heat for 4-5 minutes so that the vegetables become softer.

  • Step 6

    When the carrots become soft, add spinach. I have frozen. I took it out of the freezer in advance and defrost it. Fresh is perfect.

  • Step 7

    Stir well. Stew for 5-7 minutes, until the preparation of all ingredients.

  • Step 8

    Add boiled pasta to the pan. At this stage, I recommend that you conjure with spices. A little salt, pepper and sweet paprika are enough for me. Spices can be selected to your liking. It is good to mix lean pasta so that they are saturated with spices and the aroma of vegetables. Stew over low heat for 4-5 minutes.

  • Step 9

    For lean pasta, you can cook mushroom dishes, vegetable salads, various sauces, grill vegetables, lean meatballs or cutlets.

  • Step 10

    Lenten pasta is ready.

    They are perfectly stored in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days in a tightly closing container. Also, pasta can be portioned. Shelf life is no more than two months.
