Today we have a complex dish. A duck, fried to a crispy crust with honey mustard in a company with a beetle baked with herbs and garlic.
The combination is quite original, tasty and satisfying, so, as they say, I ask you to love and complain).
Product set:
- Duck, breast fillet with skin, 2 pcs.
- Beets, 500 gr.
- Garlic, 1 head
- Dijon granular mustard, 1 tbsp. l.
- Honey or some sweet jam, 1 tbsp. l.
- Sage, 5-6 leaflets
- Thyme, 3-4 branches
- Black pepper, vegetable oil, salt
Mix honey and mustard.
We cut the slices with glow, the garlic across in half, the leaves of thyme and sage, separate from the stems, slightly chop.
We spread the garlic and beets on a baking sheet, add to taste, water with vegetable oil, send 180 ° C to the oven until the beetroot is soft (25-30 minutes).
Put the pan on medium heat, put the duck with the skin down, do not touch seven minutes.
Salt, pepper to taste, turn it over, add mustard with honey to the pan, prepare for 3 minutes, dipping a duck in it, remove from the heat.
Cut the duck with slices and serve with baked beacon and garlic.
