I have no way to buy fresh flounder, so I always buy peeled carcasses in frozen form. It is very convenient and reduces cooking time.
What vegetables to choose is a matter of taste of everyone. The main thing is that the cooking time of vegetables coincides with the time of cooking. And, of course, to make the vegetables harmonize with the fish.
Spices can be selected at your discretion.

For the marinade, you need lemon juice. I prefer to use freshly squeezed, but you can take a purchased one. We need 10 ml of juice. I squeeze in the manual press, and send the remains of the lemon to bake with the fish.

Pour lemon juice into a deep plate, 10 ml of vegetable oil from the total. I use oil without smell, refined. Sunflower or olive. Pour ground paprika, salt and ground black pepper to taste.

My fish is gutted without a head. I just had to cut the fins and tail.
Rinse well with running water and dry with a paper towel. On the carcass, make shallow incisions on one side and the other side. Thanks to them, the fish will be marked faster inside.

Grease the flounder with a fragrant marinade from all sides, rubbing into the cuts. Leave pickled for 20-30 minutes.

Peel the bow. Run and dip it with a towel. Cut into thin quarter rings. Send into a deep bowl.

Grind purified and washed carrots in any convenient way, but not large. I wrapped a grater for Korean carrots. Add to onions.
