Sift flour into another bowl. Add baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

Mix dry ingredients.

Gradually pour a liquid mixture into dry ingredients, gently mixing with a whisk or spoon.

Six the grated carrots in the dough. It should turn out thick, but soft.
For a more saturated taste, you can add chopped nuts or raisins. In this case, raisins must be soaked in advance so that it becomes soft.

Prepare a form for baking a lean carrot cake. Lubricate the mold with vegetable oil or cover with parchment. For convenience, I always catch parchment to the lower part of the detachable shape, and smear the sidewalls with oil.

Transfer the finished dough into the shape, smooth the surface.

Heat the oven to 180 ° C, bake a lean carrot pie for 40-50 minutes. Readiness to check with a wooden skewer — if clean, without pieces of dough, then the pie is ready.
Leave the pie in the uniform for 10 minutes, then transfer to the grill or plate and completely cool before serving.

If desired, you can decorate icing or powdered sugar. Such a pie is a great treat even for those who do not adhere to the post! You can store it for 2-3 days at room temperature in a container or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
