Preparation: Step 1

    Prepare vegetables. Clean onions, carrots and garlic.

    Cut the carrots with a cube or circles.

  • Step 8

    Cut the onion with medium cubes.

  • Step 9

    Cut the garlic or pass through the press.

  • Step 10

    Do not forget to stir the meat during frying.

  • Step 11

    Add onions and carrots to the meat. Fry together for another 5 minutes.

  • Step 13

    Add tomato juice and spices.

    For the aroma, you can add a little smoked paprika — it goes well with beans. Instead of tomato juice, you can use wiped tomatoes, tomatoes in your own juice or tomato paste (1–1.5 tbsp.) + 150 ml of water. If the tomatoes are acidic, add a pinch of sugar for balance.

  • Step 14

    Add bay leaf. Reduce the fire, cover with a lid and simmer the beef for 20-30 minutes (until the softness of the meat).

  • Step 15

    At the end of cooking, rinse the beans under running water and transfer to the pan. Stir and warm everything together for another 5-7 minutes. Try to salt and, if necessary, crush. The main thing is not to overexpose so that the beans do not begin to fall apart.

    When using boiled dry beans, soak it in advance at night and cook until readiness before adding to the dish. Do not cover with a lid after adding beans. Otherwise, she can “boil” and turn into mashed potatoes.

  • Step 16

    Remove the bay leaf. Serve stew with red beans hot, sprinkling with herbs at will. This dish is well stored in the refrigerator and becomes tastier the next day.

    Beef with beans is perfectly combined with: rice, especially long -haired, potato mashed potatoes, buckwheat or bulgur, fresh toast or ramp of bread.
