Step 1
To prepare a compote of apples and tangerines, we will need fresh apples, tangerines (you can use oranges or clamps), water and granulated sugar.

First, pour water into the pan and put it on the stove boil. Meanwhile, my tangerines, clean them and divide them into slices. We cut each slice in half so that the fruits give their taste and aroma to the fullest. Seeds, if any, are removed.

We also wash the apples, cut into large pieces, while removing seed boxes and tails with stalks. The skin can not be removed if your apples are homemade — store fruits are most often processed with special chemicals that are practically not washed, so I always clean such apples.
Step 4
The water boiled — we lay mandarin and apple pieces in it. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Then we try the drink for sweetness — if you are not enough natural fruit sugar, add granulated sugar. I used 3 tablespoons, as I came across sour tangerines. Mix until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved, let the compote still boil over medium heat for a couple of minutes and turn off the fire. In fact, the compote from apples and tangerines is ready, but it is better to let him brew under the lid until completely cooled.
Step 5
When all the fruit slices settle at the bottom, we filter the compote of apples and tangerines and enjoy!
