Before starting to cook beef goulash in a slow cooker, prepare all the ingredients. Choosing the right meat is very important. Such parts of beef as a neck, shoulder blade or brisket are ideal. Fry about 15-20 minutes so that all the liquid evaporates, and the pieces of meat are browned. In each slow cooker, this process can take different times.

Peel the onion with carrots. Rinse and dry well from excess water. Cut the onion of a quarter with rings, carrots with circles. Add to meat. Salt a little.

Continue to fry in the «Frying» mode for another 4-5 minutes, stirring periodically.
