Shrovetide week behind, and we are all about pancakes)).
Recently, Ilya Laserson in his channel shared a recipe for pancakes in butter, which absolutely does not imply the addition of soda or baking powder.
We have not done this yet and today I tell how everything went (spoiler — it turned out very tasty).
Grocery set (approximately 12-14 pancakes):
- Milk, 500 ml
- Flour, 250 gr.
- Eggs, 4 pcs.
- Butter, 82%, 120 gr.
- Sugar, 50 gr.
- Vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. l.
- Salt, 0.5 tsp.
In a suitable bowl, fold all the ingredients except butter, mix thoroughly with a whisk.
Next, we need to slyly prepare the oil. Not just melt, but slightly overcrow in order to exude a “nut” aroma from fried serum.
Add melted oil to the dough through a sieve, constantly stirring and let the whole household rest half an hour at room temperature.
Lubricate the frying pan with vegetable oil, pour a thin layer of the dough with a thin layer, bake on high heat for 40-50 seconds on each side (depending on the stove).
Fold the finished pancakes in a stack, lubricating each with butter.
Serve with sour cream, jam, caviar, herring and so on.
