Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the preparation of oatmeal cookies with apples at home. Pin butter (preferably with a fat content of 82.5%) in advance from the refrigerator, 15 minutes before cooking. It should become more malleable, but not too soft, and, moreover, not liquid.
The required amount of sugar, oatmeal and walnuts is convenient to measure in advance with the help of weights, so as not to be distracted by unnecessary manipulations in the process of cooking oatmeal. The apple must be thoroughly washed under running water and dry with a towel.

Beat the softened butter with sugar with a mixer. If you do not have a mixer, you can arm yourself with an ordinary whisk and beat everything manually.

Add a cold chicken egg and beat the mass again with a mixer or a whisk until the mass is uniform.

Grind oat flakes in the kitchen combine, you need to do this within a few seconds. I used long cooking flakes. After grinding, we should get oatmeal and pieces of flakes. If you want a more homogeneous structure of cookies, then grind longer flakes.
If you do not have a food combine, then you can use oatmeal and oatmeal in a proportion of about 1: 1 or more flour.

Pour crushed oatmeal, baking powder, a pinch of salt and add vanilla flavor into the egg-oil mixture. You can also replace part of the sugar with vanilla sugar. Stir the dough thoroughly.

Clean the apple of seeds and tails. Cut it into thin slides, then into narrow strips, and then cut into cubes. They should be small enough. I do not recommend rubbing an apple on a grater, as a lot of juice will come out.

Add apples chopped in small cubes to the dough for preparing homemade oatmeal. You need to fit them well. Remove the bowl with the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. The dough should not be too soft, otherwise it will be difficult to form cookies.

Grind walnuts with the help of a food combine. In the absence of you have such a grinder, just chop the nuts in small crumbs with a knife. If the nuts were bought by weight, I recommend rinse them in advance under running water and dry well on a towel.

I usually carry carefully a rug with ready -made cookies to a large wooden board. You can also cool on a metal grate. In total, I got 14 cookies with a diameter of 6-7 cm.
