Although this dish is called a “pie”, it is actually a potato casserole.
In our case, the recipe is not quite Scottish, since there are Parmesan and Behamel, but the principle is the same — fry the meat component, put in a shape, on top of potato or vegetable puree and bake slightly.
It will be tasty, interesting and quite easy.
Product set:
We clean potatoes with carrots, cut into small pieces, smaller chicken, greens and pumpkin seeds even smaller.
Pour potatoes and carrots with boiling water, cook until cooked (20-25 minutes).
We make the Behamel sauce, for which we melt the butter in the stewpan, add the flour, fry over medium heat for a couple of minutes.
Pour cold milk, wielding a whisk so that there are no lumps, salt to taste, cook for three minutes, remove from the heat.
We are welded to the root crops in mashed potatoes, break the egg, pour itchel, weak, mix.
In a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the chicken for three minutes over high heat, salt, pepper to taste, season with something (pepper, garlic, seasoning for chicken-everything you love), add half the green onion, a third of the parsley, mix, remove from fire.
At the bottom of the form we put the chicken, distribute the vegetable puree on top, send 180 ° C to the oven for 10 minutes.
In the bowl we put the remains of greens, panning crackers, grated cheese, pumpkin seeds, add 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil, salt, mix …
… We put it on the casserole, send it to the oven for another 10 minutes.
