Preparation: Step 1

Prepare all ingredients for hercumer porridge on the water.
Hercules is the same oatmeal, only in minimal processing. This means that it is more useful, but it is preparing a little longer.
The thickness of the porridge depends on the amount of liquid. With the proposed amount of water, the porridge is thick. It can be called relatively crumbly.

Step 2
Rinse Hercules well, changing water several times.
As can be seen in the photo, some kind of garbage always rises up. Drain it carefully. And so pour/drain 2-3 times, no less.

Step 3
After throwing Hercules on a sieve.
By and large, this is not necessary. You can simply gently drain the water.

Step 4
Place washed oatmeal in a pan. Pour water, bring to a boil and reduce fire. Cook hercumer porridge on the water under a closed lid, over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Salt and add a little sugar.
Depending on whether you make sweet porridge or vice versa, the amount of salt/sugar added depends. Of course, you do not need to add sugar to the omission. But I recommend adding a pinch of salt to sweet.

Step 5
After 15 minutes, all the water was absorbed, and the cereal swelled. Turn off the fire and let an oatmeal on the water for at least 5 minutes.

Add butter to taste, mix and let stand for a couple of minutes.

Step 7
Everything, Hercules porridge on the water is ready.
In a sweet version, I like to serve it with jam or fresh berries.
In an ugly form, as mentioned above, one of the most favorite options — with fried mushrooms and onions. Still very tasty with cheese.

If you want a viscous Hercules porridge on the water, it is worth adding 100-150 grams of water more. If you want liquid, then also add 50-100 grams.
