Reduce the fire to small and cook until rice is ready, about 15-25 minutes. It all depends on the rice variety.

When the rice is prepared, all the liquid is absorbed, turn off the fire. Cover with a lid and leave for 10-15 minutes so that the rice reaches complete readiness. Boiled rice should turn out to be viscous and sticky.

Clean onions and carrots, rinse well and dry with a napkin. Cut the onion in small pieces, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Pour vegetables in a deep pan with warmed vegetable oil.

Put the vegetables over low heat until soft, about 8-10 minutes, mixing periodically. You can cover the pan with a lid.

Drain the decoction of boiled potatoes. Miss potatoes until a homogeneous consistency without lumps.
