Preparation: Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the preparation of fresh cabbage with chicken.
I used a chicken soup set. You can cook the broth on the chicken leg or breast.
Tomato juice can be replaced with 1 tbsp. tomato paste.

Rinse the chicken. Put in a pan. Add 3 liters of water. Put on medium fire. Bring to a boil. Cook for about 30-40 minutes, periodically removing the foam so that the broth is clean and transparent.

While the chicken is cooked, peel the potatoes.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes so that it gets faster.

Peel and cut the onion into small cubes.

Warm up the pan with vegetable oil. Put on a bow in it.

Clean the carrots. Grate on a coarse grater or cut into thin circles.

Put the carrots in the pan. Fry over medium heat, stirring, to softness and light goldenness, about 5-7 minutes.

Add tomato juice at the end of frying. Mix. Prepare another 1-2 minutes.

Prepare cabbage for the cabbage soup. Cut it into thin strips.

Remove the foam from the broth.

Add potatoes and bay leaf.

Pull the chicken. Cool. Remove the meat from it and return to the pan.

Add a tomato-carrot fry to the finished broth.

Salt and pepper to taste. Add cabbage.
Cook on fresh cabbage and chicken over low heat for another 30 minutes.

Try the cabbage soup to taste and, if necessary, add more spices.

If you want a more saturated taste, you can add a small amount of sauerkraut along with a fresh, slightly cucumber brine or lemon juice.
