To prepare a homemade beef soup with potatoes, first prepare all the ingredients.
Choose a fresh beef, it is better to cut without a large amount of fat — for example, anthrakot. Do not forget that the taste of beef soup depends on the quality of meat. Choose cooled, not frozen.
You will also need potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, tomatoes in your own juice, aromatic spices and greens.
Parsley, cilantro, green onions are suitable from greens — use what you love.

Cut the beef into small pieces — about 2-3 cm. Do not smell so that the meat remains juicy, but also not to do too large — the pieces should conveniently fit into the spoon. So the soup will turn out truly domestic and hearty.

In a pan with a thick bottom, warm up 1 tablespoon of olive oil and quickly fry the beef until light crust on high heat. This «seals» juices inside and makes the meat more fragrant.

After that, add a gram of 200 water and already over low heat, tightly covering the lid, to cook our beef almost to readiness.
Absolutely everything depends on the piece you have chosen. I have an entraco, which prepared 50 minutes. After this time, the meat was still slightly viscous, but almost ready. You can cook for an hour and a half. Try and see for yourself.

While the beef extinguishing, clean the carrots, onions and garlic. Cut them in large pieces — you do not need to smell, since we will grind them.

I love when potatoes begin to boil a little, giving natural density to home soup, without some additional flour or starch.

Grind the greens. Greens are both benefits and additional taste. In my opinion, there should be a lot of it. You can use frozen.

Add greens, boil and turn off for another minute.
Be sure to let the soup calm down and stand a bit, get enough of the tastes of the greens. For lovers, you can add additionally a clove or two chopped garlic. He is good there.

Remove the bay leaf and homemade beef soup with potatoes is ready.
