Preparation: Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the classic recipe for the meat team of the hodgepodge.
In the classic version, beef is used to make broth. You can take any part of the beef on the bones or a whole piece of meat. I will use beef pulp. For the aroma, I will add pork smoked ribs to the broth.
From smoked meats I will still take a meat beam and smoked sausage. You can use ham, smoked sausages such as hunting, sausages, boiled sausages.
Salted cucumbers can be replaced with pickled, then the hodgepodge will turn out without sourness. If desired, you can add cucumber brine to taste, brine of olives or capers.
Maslins must be used without a bone. Can be replaced with green olives. They can be added both at the end of cooking and before serving to the table.Limon in front of the cut with boiling water and dry well with a napkin. Cut into thin rings.
Greens use to your liking. I have parsley and dill.

When the meat is ready, strain the broth. Cool beef and ribs.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Add chopped onions. Fry on moderate heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring.

Add tomato paste and a little broth from the pan. Mix. Stew for 4-5 minutes over low heat, stirring.
